| Description |
The URBAN CULTURES DTS offers an introduction to incarnational ministry in the heart of secular, postchristian and postmodern culture over 8 months. Lectures and outreach take place simulateously over the duration of the school while students live in the city, take public transportation (the Metro), do volunteer work, work on research projects, participate in group projects. As well, each students can choose his or her own internship during which we offer coaching. These internships include arts and culture, social justice, interreligious dialogue and more. The internship is what we call a students' personal faith project in which they are accompanied throughout the school. We encourage where possible our students to develop their vision in the city outside of church culture. Such is the nature of incarnation. |

| Notes |
Incarnation, to put down roots, takes place over time. There are no short cuts. This is why our school is longer than a traditional school and why the whole 8 months take place in Montreal (with visits to Toronto, Quebec city - the most European city in NA - and New York). To influence a city and contribute to its transformation, you can't just be passing through |
