We are a small group of workers living and ministering in the heart of Paris. Our offices are based in the Belleville neighborhood which is a bustling hive of asian, middle eastern, african and artistic sub-cultures. YWAM Paris recognises the value of major urban centres and has a strong focus on the arts.

We will run Paris's first DTS from Feb 14 -July 30, 2011 and it will be an urban-focused DTS with the theme "French culture, arts and food".  We are currently co-labouring with another group to create a café to bless the neighborhood and support local artists.

Our short term goal is to pioneer a "School of French Gastronomy".  Our long term goal would be to establish a Culinary Arts degree within the University of the Nations. Our base would also like to see schools established in the areas of photography, fashion and design.

There are many areas we would like to see developed because of the spiritual hunger in Paris and so many ways in which Paris is destined to bless the world!

At this stage we have several specific needs:

  • We need people with a pioneering attitude and have experience or a desire to staff DTS's
  • We need creative chefs to work in the café with a common goal to develop the café vision and establish the Culinary Arts degree.
  • We need waiters or waitresses, people who are keen to exercise and develop their hospitality skills in the café/restaurant realm.
