Description The School of Illustration trains students to draw on the creative power of God in visual communication. It teaches professional drawing and painting techniques for commercial art and missions. Conveying biblical concepts, and communicating God’s heart are the focus of this school. Topics include: Hearing God’s voice in the creative process Drawing, composition, and design Perspective, nature and life drawing Painting techniques in watercolor, oil, acrylic, airbrush and more Visual concept design Computer design in illustration Portfolio preparation Learn from outstanding professional illustrators the essentials of drawing, painting and creative concepts. Illustration is a broad field of commercial art that includes creating artwork for areas such as: advertising, magazine and book publication, product design, cartooning and humorous illustration, editorial, medical and technical illustration, entertainment, childrens books and bibles, educational material, corporate design, tracts and missions publications. This course exposes students to the variety of new ways that illustrators can use their skills for the Kingdom of God.
